Carly

I'm Carly and I am a mother of three. I'm a Parenting Mentor, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Endorsed Midwife and have been holding space for families for the past 15 years. It was the birth of my first child that shifted my axis from being a homebirth midwife to parenting and lactation support, as I experienced firsthand the tender and unsteady arrival into motherhood.

I am passionate about providing support for families as they prepare for parenting and in those early months and years as they move through the joys and challenges. Being witnessed in our experiences and receiving compassion and support can create profound shifts in our relationship with ourselves, our partners, our children, our parents, our friends and our wider community. I have a holistic approach to care that is evidence based and centres on autonomous decision making. I invite people to take ownership of their experiences during their childbearing, infant feeding and parenting journeys and be guided by their inner wisdom.

I also have a Masters of Primary Maternity Care, and am a Circle of Security Facilitator and a Mother Baby Nurture Facilitator.
